South Mazhuvannoor is a village in Ernakulam District, Kerala, India. It is connected by road from all four sides. Kochi is 30 kilometres to the west, Muvattupuzha 20 kilometers to the east, Perumbavoor 10 kilometers to the north and Kolenchery 5 kilometers to the south. Nedumbasseri International Airport is just 30 kilometers away. The nearest Railway station is Alwaye.
The St. Thomas JSO Church Mazhuvannoor is one of the famous churches in Angamaly Diocese, under the holy see of Antioch. The governing of the church is as per the constitution of Jacobite Christian Association (2002). The church has around 1350 parishers and it has two chapels in Mangalathunada and Thattamugal.
